Freud's Ego Defense Mechanisms as Hangover Remedies

Regression: "Mommy, help me."
Identification with the aggressor: "Booze is awesome."
Repression: "I didn't do that. I would remember having done that."
Asceticism: "I think I'm going to give up eating meat."
Undoing: "I need to clean up my apartment and recycle all these empties."
Altruistic surrender: "Oh you poor baby. You look so hungover. Let me help you."
Turning against self: "I'm the worst person ever."
Sublimation: "I'm going for a run and then going to study in the library."
